Television episode"Chinatown (Entourage)" |
---|
"Chinatown" is an episode from Season 2 of the dramedy television series Entourage.
Plot
Eric Murphy (Kevin Connolly) tries to fulfill Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier)'s desire to star in the upcoming Aquaman movie being helmed by director James Cameron. Unable to obtain a print of Queens Boulevard to screen for Cameron from independent director Billy Walsh (Rhys Coiro), he turns to the film's producer to get the screening print.
Vincent Chase is enticed to do a lucrative foreign commercial for a Chinese energy drink, arranged by Ari Gold. Though Vince is initially hesitant, he is reassured by Ari that the commercial will never be seen domestically, and that the production value of the commercial was extremely high; they even have the involvement of a highly-respected Hong Kong special effects guru. The pay for the foreign commercial is much higher than domestic advertisements, and will allow Vincent to maintain his lifestyle, even if his pending movie deal falls through.
In a minor plot, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) puts his video game-playing skills with the Xbox to use by entering a tournament, in part to win cash out of concern for Vince's finances. He ends up being beaten by a much younger opponent.
