Tim grew up in Sydney, Australia, and he attended St Andrew's Cathedral School. Before his role on Hi-5, Harding was a member of the Australian band Compos Mentis that played funk and acid jazz. He was studying Social Work at university when he auditioned, and won a place, in Hi-5.He is Temporaily replaced by Steven Nicholsonin the Hi 5 Circus Stageshow as he was injured in a really bad motorcycle accident and was extremely unable to dance.
