Reese Witherspoon (born March 22, 1976) is an American actress. She has starred in a number of films including Fear, Freeway, Pleasantville, Cruel Intentions, Election, American Psycho, Legally Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.
Witherspoon was born in Nashville, Tennessee as Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon. She is 157 cm (5 ft 2 in) tall and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Witherspoon married actor Ryan Phillippe on June 5, 1999. They have one child, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, born September 9, 1999.
She is known for her versatility as an actress, playing both comedic and dramatic roles and has won Best Actress awards from the National Society of Film Critics and the Online Film Critics Society.
