Pompous (sometimes spelled pompus) applies to a person who believes they are on top of every and success, the definition of pompous means a person who believes themselves to be grand, solemn and self-important. It is another way of being selfish and caring about one's self. The behaviour is usually acting posh and only caring about themself.
