The Durga Vahini (Army of Durga) is the women's wing of the Vishva Hindu Parishad. Based on the Bajrang Dal, the youth arm of the VHP, the Durga Vahini seeks to organise Hindu women for social and religious services. It also controversially provides military training to its members as self-defence training.
