Lovehatetragedy is the second major-label album by Californian rock group Papa Roach. It was released on June 18 2002, and ultimately didn't sell as well as its predecessor, "Infest". Notable was the exception of previous rapped vocals, except on the song "She Loves Me Not". It still sold approximately 700 000 units (gold) in US alone. It was also certified gold in UK and Canada. It peaked #2 on Billboard 200.

The album was originally meant to be titled Born To Rock thus the cover.

The song, "She Loves Me Not" was originally written as part of 5 track promo/demo CD funded by Warner Bros. Records in 1999. "She Loves Me Not" was rerecorded and improved for its new release in 2002. In the music video, a person appears out of nowhere in front of the camera for a single frame, similar to methods used in subliminal messaging.

Sections of the "Time and Time Again" were used in the Papa Roach version of the Pepsi Blue television advertisements in 2002.
