Arctic Monkeys are a four-piece indie rock band from Sheffield, England that have been described as the Northern Libertines. They received attention from NME, The Daily Star and Radio 1 for their catchy songs and witty lyrics while being an unsigned band, however they were recently signed to Domino Records. In May 2005 Arctic Monkeys released their debut single; Five Minutes with the Arctic Monkeys. This release was limited to 1000 in CD format and 500 in 7".
