So how is this unit 'formed along the lines of' the Special Air Service? The SAS is a military unit and the SAF is a police unit, so by definition they are fundamentally different.
There appears to be no correlation whatsoever between the organisational or operational structure of the British SAS and this unit.
I think someone is trying to give this unit some prestige by falsely associating it with the legendary SAS

Nonsense

So how is this unit 'formed along the lines of' the Special Air Service? The SAS is a military unit and the SAF is a police unit, so by definition they are fundamentally different.
