So how is this unit 'formed along the lines of' the Special Air Service? The SAS is a military unit and the SAF is a police unit, so by definition they are fundamentally different. | |||

Nonsense
So how is this unit 'formed along the lines of' the Special Air Service? The SAS is a military unit and the SAF is a police unit, so by definition they are fundamentally different.
There appears to be no correlation whatsoever between the organisational or operational structure of the British SAS and this unit.
I think someone is trying to give this unit some prestige by falsely associating it with the legendary SAS
