Pascal Dupuis (born 7 April, 1979 in Laval, Quebec) is a Canadian ice hockey left winger who currently plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League.

Playing career

Pascal Dupuis started his career with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the QMJHL. He played four seasons in the Q, but was never drafted by an NHL club. But on 18 August, 2000, he was signed by the Minnesota Wild.

It took Dupuis a year of seasoning in the IHL before he would become a regular player in the NHL. In his second full season, he broke out and made a name for himself by scoring 20 goals and 48 points while having a plus-minus rating of +17. However the next season, 2003-04, he was bothered by injuries and he was unable to improve on his totals from the previous year.

During the 2005 NHL lockout, Dupuis played 8 games for Ajoie of the Swiss League.

When the NHL returned in 2005-06, Dupuis managed only 26 points in 67 games. After 48 games with the team in the 2006-07 season, he was traded to the Rangers for Adam Hall in February 2007. On February 27, 2007, he was traded again, this time to the Atlanta Thrashers for a prospect. On February 26, 2008, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
