Harcmistrz Rzeczpospolitej (hm. RP), Harcmistrz of the Republic of Poland (Rzeczpospolita) - was the highest pre-war instructor rank.

Harcmistrz Polski Ludowej (hm. PL), Harcmistrz of the People's Republic of Poland (hm. PL) - was the highest and honorary instructor rank from 1965 until 1989.
