Abdul 'Azeez ibn Abdullaah ibn Baaz (also Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Baz or Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz) was the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia from 1993 until his death in 1999. Born in Najd, he was a Muslim scholar and a staunch enemy of Shias and Mut'ah. He introduced the Misyar marriage.
