It was premiered in August ] during shows at the ] in ]. On a setlist for the shows it was labeled as "QWERTY". A studio demo version has since been released as a track on ] CD, along with a live recording from Summer Sonic. The song is notable for having a more complex guitar riff than Linkin Park usually uses.
The track is often referred to as ''Behind Your Lies'' by fans and numerous sites because of the main chorus which contains lyrics of: "You hide behind lies, you don't know why, you crossed the line, wrapped up inside your lies."

There are two versions, studio and live. The studio version is 28 seconds shorter, and has a faster chorus. Also, in the live version, ] whispers the end repeat of the lyric "you hide behind lies, you don't know why", while Chester whispers it in the studio version.

QWERTY is also currently being played on the ] ] tour in Set B, one of the three different sets Linkin Park will be playing each night. It debuted in the U.S. on July 29th, 2007 at ], CA.
