A show runner is basically a production bitch who must run scripts, get coffee for producers and directors and move garbage cans out of the hallways, so you have a clear path to run back and forth, upstairs and downstairs. You must have photocopy machine skills, phone skills for calling the pizza man (crew gets very hungry). A show runner must know how to put 50 cents into a vending machine because if there is no coffee, you must get the production staff chocolate bars. You must love yourself because you will get yelled at on any given moment. You must be willing to get insulted on a daily basis. But you will love your job because it pays $12.00 an hour and everybody knows you. | |||
