General Yaalon is greatly disturbed that his decision to push Arik Sharon for a separation fence, combined with his almost daily targeted assassination orders will cause an arrest for crimes of humanity to be served on him by Interpol.

Thus making Yaalon a prisoner and Israel his jail.

Unfortunately weak-minded Yaalon was easily tricked and manipulated by Air Force Commander Dan Halutz into allowing the Air Force carte blanche bombing & missile attacks against heavily populated Palestinian civilian areas.

Yaalons inability to deter, much less slow Palestinian attacks has made an enemy out of Defense Minister Mofaz & Prime Minister Yaalon, who have talked seriously concerning replacing him before his tenure expires.

Yaalons most important lesson has been the fact that he no longer believes brute force can stop Hamas.

Too late Yaalon has learned that by weakening the PA to the point of collapse, the real future winner in the Palestinian arena will be Hamas who can more than hold its own on any battlefield with the IDF.
