Abbott's Frozen Custard is an ice cream franchise founded and based in Rochester, New York. The franchise has stores throughout New York state along with five stores in Florida and one store in Massachussetts, with plans to expand into the Orlando area.

History

Arthur Abbott began selling frozen custard in Rye Beach, New York in 1902. During the early 1900s, Abbott and brothers opened a store in the Charlotte neighborhood of Rochester, New York. The franchise eventually expanded around Rochester and beyond.

The slogan for Abbott's changes frequently, but a lasting slogan has been 'Gotta Have That Abbott's Habit'.
