Song |
"Bad Habit" is a song by punk rock band The Offspring. It is the third song on their third studio album Smash, which was released in 1994.
History
In 1995, there had been some confusion as to what the 3rd single off Smash would be, and several stations in the US played "Bad Habit" as a single in early 1995. This confusion ended when "Gotta Get Away" would actually become the album's 3rd official single. However, the song had already become one of KROQ's one of the most requested songs at the time, and it reached #30 on the station's countdown list of 1995.
Despite the fact that the song was never released as an official single, "Bad Habit" song has remained a very popular song for the band and is considered a concert staple. It is usually always played as the first song on their standard concert playlist.
The line is so well-known that The Offspring's official store sells a shirt with the line on it.
