Due to my increasing hospital duties, I'm on a partial Wikibreak. I'll try to still be around, but likely will unable to make any major contributions.

I am a student of the universe, a seeker of knowledge, a lover of learning.

In the real world, I am a resident physician currently living in Minnesota, which leaves me with little time.

I was born in 1979. I discovered Misplaced Pages in early November 2004. It wasn't long before I was drawn in; I made my first edit on November 20, 2004 (under my briefly used account, User:Knowledgeseeker). On March 15, 2005, I became an administrator. To check up on what I've been doing with my administrative powers, see my log (note that rollbacks will appear under my contributions like my other edits). I take pride in my work and take care to follow Misplaced Pages policy. If you feel I have misused my adminstrative powers in some way, I would very much appreciate if you let me know.

All right, I gave in and added a picture of myself. It's from a couple years ago—I'll replace it with a better picture when I get a chance.

The remainder of this page is really for me, to keep track of articles I'm working on and such. You're welcome to read it but it's not very well-organized.

Although I spend most of my time copyediting, here are some current/future project ideas. This is more to remind me what I wanted to work on than to tell others. I am overly ambitious for the amount of time I have and probably won't get to all of these. Anyone is free to beat me to these tasks.

• Work on Chicago-related articles, especially ones about streets and multilevel streets in Chicago (User:SPUI has created some beautiful maps ). Add photographs to Chicago-related articles if they don't have them already.
  • Wacker Drive — take a new photograph once we get some sunnier weather
  • Lake Shore Drive needs a photograph, but maybe another from the North Avenue Bridge?
  • Columbus Drive upload pictures if article is created has 2 photos now
  • U.S. Highway 41 needs some info about when it runs along Interstate 94 when I have time to look it up.
  • Disambiguate the links to the Museum of Science and Industry
• Work on medicine stubs. I haven't been too active here, partially because many of them are already pretty good, and partially because I don't want to spend much of my free time reading more about medicine.
  • Split out information on Anorexia nervosa from Anorexia. Split, but I'll try to expand it more.
  • Expand Vasovagal syncope expanded
  • Write Tilt table test
  • Write History (medicine) it's at Anamnesis
  • Write Chromoblastomycosis
    • Generalize metastasis and elephantiasis—too narrow
  • Write Connective tissue disease — someone else started it
    • Work on Connective tissue while I'm at it
  • Write Mastoiditis
    • Expand Mastoid process too
  • Write Transaminase
  • Write Soleus muscle
  • Write acrocyanosis
• Add material to space- and space-exploration–related articles if I learn about something that isn't already included in the articles.
  • Work on italicizing spacecraft names
• Work on Star Trek–related articles
  • Work on the links to the old Starship Voyager page
• Add some photographs to India-related articles; flesh out short articles
  • Jodhpur:uploaded photograph
  • Mehrangarh Fort:uploaded photgraph; work on expanding article so I can add more photos

• Move my photographs to Commons; add them to the category or gallery pages (in progress)

• Figure out how to add accents and tildes while editing the Spanish Misplaced Pages. Oh and work on my Spanish skills
• Try writing Phosphorus cycle so that people won't keep following broken (red) links and write nonsense that has to be repeatedly speedied Started it, but it could really use some work. Anyone who knows any ecology, feel free to fix it up! My good friends at the Cleanup Taskforce have really helped out here, but if you know any ecology, feel free to work on it more.
