  • TopoCode edits the same kinds of articles as the banned user Tobias Conradi, i.e. country subdivisions. Especially both like to enforce a common naming scheme without consulting any local WikiProjects, as well as creating disambiguation pages en masse without fixing any of the links pointing there. Also clearly an experienced user despite being a new account, since he uses the abbreviations even I rarely known . While Tobias was a good contributor for his content, it was his inability to work socially which got him banned. Reporting him here doesn't mean I would mind him to be back, but sneaking back in isn't the right way for a banned user.

Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Country subdivisions/Naming gives an overview about the articles Ahoerstemeier seems to refer to. Everyone can see what is the most common naming scheme, and decide if he likes to help WP here.

"TopoCode edits the same kinds of articles as the banned
user Tobias Conradi, i.e. country subdivisions."
  • Tobias Conradi edited 17375 distinct pages . Thus, there are likely lots of users editing pages that he did edit.
"creating disambiguation pages en masse without fixing any of the links pointing there "
"Especially both like to enforce a common naming scheme"
"without consulting any local WikiProjects"
"Also clearly an experienced user despite being a new account,
since he uses the abbreviations even I rarely known"
  • This can happen.
"While Tobias was a good contributor for his content,"
  • I don't know much about that, but given he edited and created so many pages and things are still often where he put them, he cannot have been too bad in creating and moving.
"it was his inability to work socially which got him banned."
  • This is your personal judgement. I cannot talk about that. Everybody can look into the block logs and discussions (except for what admins deleted)
"Reporting him here "
  • For the record: You didn't report _him_.
"doesn't mean I would mind him to be back,"
  • sure? If he was so inable to work socially as you said above?
"but sneaking back in isn't the right way for a banned user."
  • indeed. He should stay away forever or get unblocked by admin/ARBCOM.
Conclusions
  • Note I don't what all of that verbosity above is intended to show, but if TopoCode is suggesting that Jbmurray or Fvasconcellos are sockpuppets of anyone, that's way off base (and I'll eat my hat). SandyGeorgia (Talk) 04:11, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
