Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Barack Obama

You probably weren't aware, but there has been extensive discussion at Talk:Barack Obama on the correct listing of Obama's race in the lede. The currently-included language is a result of that discussion, and the rationale is explained in question 2 of the FAQ listed on the talk page. I invite you to read that FAQ entry, and to review the archives of past discussions on the matter. If, after doing so, you still believe this should be changed, please initiate a discussion on the matter at Talk:Barack Obama to seek a new consensus rather than simply making the change.
