Moldovans can refer to:
  • Moldovans, a ethnic group, living mainly in the Republic of Moldova, where they comprising 76,1% of population. The Moldovans of Romania and Moldovans of Moldova were considered to be the same ethnicity until after the Soviet occupation of the Eastern half of Moldavia in the 1940s, when the Soviet Union tried to severe all links of the Moldovans with Romania and encourage a separate identity, including of a Moldovan language, allegedly different from Romanian.
  • Moldovans can also refer to Moldovan nationals, regardless of ethnicity.
