Vcxlor
Up to the 1970's short wave radio services were important for outback Western Australian communities with no local radio medium wave or fm radio. I can remember listening on medium wave when they were opening and closing the various short wave stations - If my memory serves me well they were something like VC6 or VCW or something very similar.
Lived in Queenstown in the mid 1970's.
Lived in Java the island in the 90's and 'lor' is one of the cardinal directions.
