==Dr. Who video games==
Okay, for the moment, forget the comics, forget the rest of the issues. This is just about the video games. They have no place in Dr. Who chronology because their own stories do not establish themselves as his history. (1) Those can be played using different versions of the Doctor immediately remove themselves from chronology because they have no definite chronology. (2) Internally, each game has a variety of steps because different players, even if they never get a game over, will play it in different ways. (3) Some have multiple outcomes and therefore no definite continuity in the Doctor's history. (4) Even when a game has only one ultimate ending, it still has thousands of possible endings in terms of the different ways it can result in game over. Items (1) and (3) are absolute problems, but items (2) and (4) matter too. ] 08:25, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
:Re: "But they are still part of the Doctor Who chronology, you can't deny that."
:''How?'' Yes, I can deny it. They cannot possibly fit chronologically because they have no definite story. Have you noticed that you are the ''only'' person in these discussions who doesn't get that? Seriously. ] 07:55, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Attack of the Graske and Mission to the unknown
(my talk page) "Alright I'll stop adding the video games but at least keep Attack of the Graske and Mission to the Unknown VitasV 1/9/07 —Preceding unsigned comment added by VitasV (talk • contribs) 23:49, 31 August 2007 (UTC) "
- I'm not asking to remove "Mission to the Unknown", I'm asking wheter the section that it is listed in should be changed on the (extremely) minor point that it doesn't contain the doctor.
As for Attack of the Graske, I asked on the talk page if there was a reason for it's removal, and was told that it was counted as a game (which I can understand as sit has two possible endings), so I kept it out. Ask (politelty) on the talk page, and see what people think.

Your user page
"*If you are looking for information on Doctor Who. I recommend that you don't use the Doctor Who story chronology page due to so many people doing unessesary edits and for some reason they wont include alot of Doctor Who stories due to bizzare and idiotic reasons."
I draw your attention to this page here
and if you tell us (ploitely) on the talk page what we are missing, then it may be added.
StuartDD ( t • c ) 16:54, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
I still stand by what I say unless you find a way to improve it and that is to add the stuff that is meant to be in there. VitasV 14/9/07
- Once again, a demonsrtration of your belief that only you can have the correct opinion
Well let's take a look at what is not being included and why:
"The video games are missing, the comics are missing and a (f)ew others."(User Page)
video games
- The fact is, that no official source inlcudes them as canon (with the exception of Attack of the Graske, see above section for that), let alone part of the same chronology. There is also the fact the "story" can be played in different ways
- I followed a link to the Mines of Terror Game, where you would "regenerate" if you died.
- Clearly, the number of "regenerations" that happen (if any) depends on the player's actions
- There is also the obvious issue, that after "regenerating", it is the same Doctor - whcih clearly cannot be considered to be part of the same story as the main series.
- So, no include
The comics
- Well, I couldn't see a reason for NOT including them, so I started that section on The talk page. The definitie "no include" statements state that it is almost impossible to reconsile them with canon (I haven't read the comics, so I don't know). If that's correct, then I think it's a good reason not to include them.
- If a "story" doesn't fit into the same basic story-line (such as the companions being different) of the series, then how can it be part of the same chronology?
- There is also the fact (which has also been pointed out) that there is no attempt to bring them into canon by the Books or Audios
- I am aware that they are included by official sources (As I stated on the talk page), but notice that the two definative "don't include" statements were added afterwards
- So, no include
A (f)ew others
- Examples?, When changing from the book/Audio format to the current one, I went through the lists on wiki to check that they were all included. I didn't include the ones yet tot be released (as I couldn't find a source for their placements), but other than that I think I got them all.
- So give some examples and they may be included.
StuartDD ( t • c ) 09:43, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
I still stand by what I say. VitasV 16/9/07
- Well, I've explained the reasons given for not inlcuding the material. If, after that, you still hold your belief that only your opinion is correct, then I can't help you. StuartDD ( t • c ) 14:17, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Your recent edits
Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Frostfire
in regard to this:
Please stop placing Frostfire between The Time Meddler and The Empire of Glass. I'm not sure if you've listened to the audio but the story takes place between The Myth Makers and The Dalek's Master Plan. The story Vicki tells to Cinder is what happened during between The Time Meddler and The Empire of Glass, not what is happening there right now. If you don't agree with what I say then I suggest you listen to it again or buy it if you don't have it.
Do you mean that the placement between "The Time Meddler" and "The Empire of Glass" is a flashback? StuartDD contributions 10:24, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. I spotted the flashback for Fear of the Daleks when I was finding the references, but I must have missed the flashback here. StuartDD contributions 08:08, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Mad doc software.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Mad doc software.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:31, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Patrick Allen.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Patrick Allen.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Misplaced Pages's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 22:41, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

We are still waiting for a reliable source for this reappearance. When one is available, it can be added to the article. --Rodhullandemu 22:44, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
The Young Ones (video game)
I want to let you know that you need to find verifiable, third-party soucres establishing notability of the article. Otherwise, it's possible that this could be merged or possibly deleted. Hopefully, you can find some so none of that happens. Thank you, MuZemike (talk) 21:16, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of The Young Ones (video game)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Young Ones (video game), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Misplaced Pages is not" and Misplaced Pages's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. TUGS edits
Please don't add information to the TUGS article, which i have already sourced as being incorrect. As shown in the image which i previously sent you a link to, the character's title is "O.J." not "O. J. " with the space as you have edited in. It makes the article look worse if you add stuff which isn't correct. Cheers -- ReplyOnMine! 12:54, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Patrick Allen.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Patrick Allen.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Misplaced Pages may not meet the criteria required by Misplaced Pages:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Misplaced Pages:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Seidenstud (talk) 20:16, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

YouTube
Just was watching your videos on YouTube just there, was wondering, how did you manage to get the title sequence without text?
As well as this, where did you get the japanese one? The article is lacking information on this, if you have any more sources on this, it would be great! -- ReplyOnMine! 00:12, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks for trying, i kind of figured it would be something like this. What i was wondering though was, how did you remove the titles from the videos? Is there a version of it which exists? -- ReplyOnMine! 22:27, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
RE: TUGS
Unfortunately its a bit more than just thoroughly improving the articles. The problems with Wikias is that they are volatile; as i'm sure you know, anyone can edit them. It would be like using Misplaced Pages as a source; one day it could be perfect and tell someone everything they want to know, and the next day the page could have been blanked.
This is why even if a wikia is perfect, which i am sure this one is with all the work everyone is putting into it, it still cannot be used as an external link. If the most notable information was actually added to the pages, as opposed to just linking the site, this would be more constructive editing.
Thanks for your help!
