David Carr is the drummer for the Christian rock band Third Day. He was born David Ronald Carr, on November 15, 1974. He fist started playing the drums when he was 11. He became a christian when he was 15, and decided that he wanted to be able to serve God in some way though his drumming. He met Mac Powell and Mark Lee when he was 19, at his church's youth group. Later on when Mac and Mark were looking for a drum player, he fit the perfect spot. David currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and two sons.
