Karitane Island is a shoal located in the Pacific Ocean south of the Cook Islands. Despite the fact that it is submerged at high tide, it is claimed as "territory" by the Dominion of Melchizedek, a micronation closely associated with large scale banking fraud through the banks it licensed.
