WikiProject Piracy participation update

Hello Nishkid64,

WikiProject Piracy is currently undergoing some updates and changes, and we are trying to find out who is still active in the project. You are currently listed as a participant on the list of participants, and we would like for you to update your status. Please move your name to the section that best describes your activity in the project:

  • Active - still active and interested within the scope of the WikiProject.
  • Semi-Active - still active on Misplaced Pages, but not as active in regards to the WikiProject.
  • Former Members - a catch-all classification for those editors who are not active on Misplaced Pages, those that are still on Misplaced Pages, but no longer part of this WikiProject, or those that have otherwise not moved their names to another classification yet.

Thank you,

Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Brexx

Hi!

Thanks for completing the CU request in the above case. Would you be willing to run a check on Countrywomangirl (talk · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) without me re-filing the case at SPI? Countrywomangirl's account was created several hours after Fidodidoman was blocked and all of Countrywomangirl's edits are on the same articles edited by Fidodidoman immediately before he was blocked. In addition, the MO and the writing style are a match.

Please let me know if you can confirm this or if you would prefer that I re-file at SPI.

Thanks! Big Bird (talkcontribs) 21:40, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Nipponese Dog Calvero sockpuppets

Please sniff out User:阮高治, User:Ben19870923, User:潘佩珠是越南國父 and other new sockpuppets of Nipponese Dog Calvero. Thanks. DHN (talk) 15:46, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Economics portal

I saw you are the major contributor to the Econ Portal ! or maybe just to the selected feature article. I was going to suggest that Bernard Madoff be put up as the featured article in time for his presumed guilty pleas on Thursday, March 12. But it seems another Keynes article was chosen this month.

BTW, I saw these on Wikinews and was wondering whether they could be made to work on the portal? Template:Crude Oil Prices

Template:Stock Market data

Who actually runs the portal anyway?

Any help appreciated.

Smallbones (talk) 20:35, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

I am not really a major contributor as the editor who usually runs the portal is Nishkid64. I have transcribed your post to his talkpage for his information. Madoff is indeed a good choice for featured article, which is why I added Charles Ponzi to the portal last month. Please feel free to make any changes that you wish. As regards the templates, maybe you could ask the editor who designed them for Wikinews if he might consider creating them for Misplaced Pages. --Gavin Collins (talk|contribs) 22:12, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Small, minor request

Hello Nishkid! When giving CU info, would you be so kind as to user {{checkuser|accountname}} instead of {{user|accountname}}? At least for the confirmed, since it makes it just a bit easier. You also forgot to sign :> Synergy 01:21, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Azturkk AND MTLL

Thanks Nikshid for quick response in this RFCU . How about those IPs?

BTW, Azturkk is probably MTLL. Azturk has violated WP:Sock. Is there any punishing or preventing measure is required?--St. Hubert (talk) 06:22, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

why did you delete these words?"Azerbaycan türkleri"? see here:
