Korn is a popular nu-metal rock band from Bakersfield, California. They originally formed as LAPD, which already consisted out of all the members apart from Jonathan Davis and like korn was largely meant as a joke. When he joined the band in 1993, they changed their name to Korn, releasing their debut Korn in october 1994.
