Aang is a fictional character from the animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender that has been on Nickelodeon since February 23, 2005. Aang is an Airbender and the Avatar, who's job is to keep the four nations at harmony. Technically, he is 112 years old, but he looks, sounds, and acts like a twelve year old because was frozen in an iceburg for a hundred years. As the Avatar, he is trying to end the war that has been going on since he disappeared as well as trying to learn all the four elements to defeat Fire Lord Ozai. Aang has to defeat him before the end of summer because a comet will come that will make the Firebenders practically invincible. With the help of his friends, Sokka and Katara, and the Avatar spirit that lives inside him, he will try to defeat the Fire Nation before it is too late.
