Hi Moncrief - is this where I reply to you??
I think arterial in the sense of a major road is more international than you think!! I suspect though that even then in all it's meaning it is actually an adjective used colloquially as a noun - ie arterial road = major road--Erich gasboy 09:45, 21 Mar 2004 (UTC)
