Template:Future event Timmy Time is a programme made by Aardman Animations. It started broadcasting on CBeebies on April 6, 2009 at 9.00am every weekday on CBeebies, and has also been picked up by Disney Channels across the world, including in the US. The show is a spin off from the Shaun the Sheep animation, which introduced the Timmy character. The show's first series will run for 26 episodes.

Premise and format

Timmy is Shaun's cousin who lives in the farm next door. In this series, Timmy and his friends have to learn to share, make friends and own up to mistakes. They are supervised by the teachers, Harriet the Mother Stork and Osbourne the Father Owl. The show is aimed at pre-school aged children, which the company described as "a natural step for Aardman".

The show is made up of ten minute episodes, which do not feature any dialogue, much like Shaun the Sheep.

  • Timmy the Sheep who says Baa!, the titular character who enjoys being in the spotlight.

  • Paxton the Pig who says Oink, characterised by his appetite for food and weight.
  • Mittens the Cat who says Mee-yew.
