== Site Description ==
This ] ] was constructed at the behest of ] ] in 728-729 AD<ref>Constable, O.R. (2003) p 56</ref> to be used as a military and hunting outpost<ref></ref>. The palace consists of a large open courtyard surrounded by thick ] and towers guarding the entrances as well as each corner<ref></ref>.

The palace is the counterpart of ], another nearby castle palace but one year earlier<ref>Constable, O.R. (2003) p 56</ref>.
