Kate Garven (born February 18, 1986) is an Australian actress best known as Jade Sutherland on the television series Home and Away, playing the role from 2000 to 2004.

She grew up in the Hills Area with her family on an Acreage. She has a pet peacock named Andrew.

She used to go to Northholm Grammar School in Arcadia until she got onto Home and Away, and played the flute.

She has two older sisters, Emma and Lisa and one brother, Matt.

In May 2004 aged 18 she married Ben Field, who was working as Second Unit director on Home and Away when they met.

Kate left Home and Away to move to London, England, to pursue a career there, although recent magazines have spotted her back in Sydney as of 2006. Whether this move is permanent or not is unknown. She has a son with her husband.
