As part of a HECS, this is possible as then, the process is simply reversed; instead of generating energy from moving water, energy is put into the device and water is moved instead. | |||
also, is it possible to stop trying to merge the article i created (... energy conversion system), as these should instead become the main article, rather than being "merged" into another article. This is btw not possible as the article deal around being the main name for any device capable of harnessing energy from natural phenomenons (thus including simple mechanical devices; ie devices that do not generate any electricity) As other articles already have a similar naming (eg OTEC article, ...) I find it very unlogical of trying to take any different approach. It is true that some of the names I use aren't "popularly" used, but would this encylopedia not have more benefit from correct names and a logical hierarchy of the wiki, rather than handling things 'the popular way' ? | |||
