The Uncharted series is a series of video games by Naughty Dog based on the adventures of fictional character Nathan Drake.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Main article: Uncharted: Drake's FortuneUncharted: Drake's Fortune is the first game in the series, and is an action-adventure video game developed by Naughty Dog, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Combining platforming and third-person shooter elements, the game charts the journey of protagonist Nathan Drake, supposed descendant of the explorer Sir Francis Drake, as he seeks the lost treasure of El Dorado, with the help of friend Victor "Sully" Sullivan and journalist Elena Fisher..
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Main article: Uncharted 2: Among ThievesUncharted 2: Among Thieves is the second game in the series, and is an PlayStation 3 action/adventure video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is the sequel to the highly successful Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
Uncharted 3
Naughty Dog developer Amy Hennig is seeing a bright and very long future for the franchise. Speaking with the PlayStation.Blog, the studio's creative director mentions that the story of Nathan Drake and co. doesn't end with Among Thieves. " doesn't conclude the story at all. The expectation with Uncharted is that it can be an ongoing franchise as long as people want more of it. All these stories are self-contained. You don't have to play the last one to play this one. Obviously, you're going to get a little bit more out of it if you have. But 's going to have a lot of adventures, thank god." They have since then confirmed that there will be an Uncharted 3.
Movie adaptation
Film producer Avi Arad has stated that he is working with a division of Sony to develop the film adaptation of Uncharted. In response to a question posed to Richard Lemarchand, lead game designer of Naughty Dog, on whether he would like to see a film adaptation of Uncharted, he replied "no comment.".
Since then, Columbia Pictures has confirmed that an Uncharted film is being developed. It is to be written by Kyle Ward and produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner.
As of June 30, 2009 it was confirmed that the Uncharted film has been in production for the last year-and-a-half.
