Request reason:
I was a knowledgeable, diligent, intelligent, rational, objective, earnest, conscientious, sharp, and thoughtful contributer to Misplaced Pages. I have been shocked by my recent (and unwelcome) encounters with seemingly malicious, capricious, overzealous, oversensitive, unhelpful, and discourteous "persons" on Misplaced Pages whose arbitary edits to my fine contributions have been either indefensible or poorly (if ever) explained. I remain tremendously unimpressed by the lack of professionalism, discriminating judgment, and courtesy I have encountered too often on Misplaced Pages. I cannot and will not deal with significantly and demonstrably irrational people and feel disheartened that Misplaced Pages harbors such vipers in its nest.

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
