Tosh.0 (pronounced "Tosh point oh") is an American television series hosted by comedian Daniel Tosh, who provides sarcastic and biting commentary on the various clips.

History

Tosh.0 premiered on Comedy Central on June 4, 2009, starring Daniel Tosh. It focuses on internet viral video in the style of Web Soup. The first season proved a surprise hit, averaging over a million viewers per episode and ranking as second most watched cable show amongst 18-34 year old males, a sought after advertising demographic.

The show was originally only scheduled for 10 episodes, but as its popularity increased, Comedy Central extended the first season to 16 episodes. A reoccuring gag in tosh.0 is when the show is about to go to a commercial break, Daniel Tosh says "We'll be right back with..." and then gives the name of a cancelled comedy central show. (Reno 911, Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire, Lewis Black's Root of All Evil, etc.)

New episodes of Tosh.0 return in January. And also, Comedy Central, on December 16th confirmed the show for a second 25 episode season.
