Loyola University, Chicago is a university based in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1870, it bears the name of the Spanish nobleman St. Ignatius of Loyola.
It is one of 28 Jesuit universities in the United States and is dedicated to higher education and health care.
Loyola University Chicago School of Law was founded in 1908.
During the 1962-1963 season, the Loyola Ramblers won the national basketball championship.
The Red Line of the Chicago Transit Authority serves Loyola.
