Karachi is a city in Pakistan on the east coast of the Arabian Sea and to the north-west of the Indus river. It is the capital of the province of Sindh and the largest settlement in Pakistan with 8.5m people. It is also the commercial centre of the country with a high quality port and airport.
The founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born and buried in Karachi.
