WEAO is a PBS station located in Akron, Ohio (although technically broadcasting from Kent, Ohio). WEAO's sister station is WNEO- both stations carry identical broadcasts. WEAO is broadcast on Channel 49 which previously had been the home of Akron's WAKR-TV from 1953-67 (Now WVPX 23)
