Andi Peters (born 29th July 1970 in Chelsea, South West London, England) first found fame as an annoying British TV presenter and was subsequently employed as a senior TV executive. He is mostly associated with shows for children, and the childish. Initially he presented Free Time on ITV, but reached a much wider audience with Edd the Duck and Wilson (an arm purporting to be as part of a butler) in the "broom cupboard" slot on Children's BBC, which he presented from 1990 to 1993. He eventually came out. And then presented Live & Kicking, alongside Emma Forbes, from 1993 to 1996. Andi's sole film credit is for Toy Story 2 where he supplied the voice of a baggage handler in the British release in order to get some cheap publicity on one of his lame shows.
Unbelievably, Andi became executive producer of Top of the Pops in 2003 and resigned from that role in 2005 having seen his show plummet in the ratings and get relegated to BBC2 for the first time in its long and proud history. He also created the highly successful T4 on Channel 4 and currently presents daytime reality show City Hospital on BBC One.
Andi has just been unceremoniusly kicked out of ITV's Dancing on Ice.
