Darren Morris (born 24 September 1974) is who plays prop for Leicester Tigers and Wales
Morris was born in Pontypridd, and educated at Aberdare Boys School, Neath College and Glamorgan University. He played tighhead prop for Neath, but moved to Swansea in 1998, moving to loosehead when Ben Evans arrived. He made his Wales debut 6 June 1998 against Zimbabwe, retiring from the International stage in 2005, winning 104 caps, scoring 30 tries.
Morris played on the successful 2001 British and Irish Lions tour to Australia, and came on as a replacement for Tom Smith in the third test. A test they won to clinch a famous 2-1 series win, with Darren scoring one of the 3 tries in that final match for the Lions. He was unlucky to miss out on the 2005 Tour to New Zealand with head coach, Sir Clive Woodward, opting for an overhyped, overrated, bullethead, Andrew Sheridan.
