A ]—pretty boy—is a concept common in Japanese popular culture, and as such doesn't fit me at all. It's confusing because I'm female, for one thing, and occasionally I go by Bishojo, pretty girl, on IRC, to clarify matters... only it doesn't really, as the "pretty" part doesn't fit very well either. I picked "Bishonen" for the sound and because of ]' song, and personal associations like that. OK, it was silly, but I still like it.
