Big Brother 13 is the thirteenth season of the American reality television series Big Brother. Due to higher ratings than previous seasons, Big Brother has become CBS's "summer hero" as stated by their Alternative Programming Vice President. The HouseGuests will move into the Big Brother house in Summer 2011, and will premiere then as well. The format of the program will remain unchanged from previous seasons: a group of contestants, referred to as HouseGuests, are enclosed in the Big Brother House under the surveillance of cameras and microphones. Each week the HouseGuests will vote to evict one of their own until two HouseGuests remain on finale night.
