Nimud is most probably a spelling error of one of the following:
- Nimrod
- Nimrud, a city in Iraq and a famous archeological site.
- NiMUD, a MUD whose name was synonymous with the spelling of Nimrud as "Nimud" in an essay written at the same time (source: Suffer, Little Children by Farrell Till, 1993).
