John Lenders is the Victorian Minister for Finance, Major Projects, Workcover and the TAC, who is also the leader of the Government in the Legislative Council. He is currently the Member for Waverly Provence.

Prior Positions

He was elected in the 1999 election and has also held the position of Parliamentary Secretary for Finance, Minister of Industrial Relations, Minister for Consumer Affairs and former member of Dandenong North (no longer a seat). John was also once the State Secretary for the Victorian ALP from 1994-1999, a position presently held by Stephen Newnham.

Family

John is the son of dairy farmers from Gippsland, and is married with three children.
