XX/XY is a film released in 2002 starring Mark Ruffalo and Maya Stange. The film is a romantic drama written and directed by Austin Chick, the title referring to the different chromosome pairings present in men and women. It was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in the year it was released.
