ISTUD is a European independent business school that specializes in executive education, advanced lifelong learning, and management research. The faculty is composed of around 60 researchers, lecturers and management consultants, and its training centre is located in Stresa, Lake Maggiore, near Milan and Malpensa Airport.
The school was founded in 1970 through the initiative of Assolombarda and a group of large Italian and multinational companies. It has been attended by more than 50,000 managers and managerial staff, as well as more than 2,000 graduates.
ISTUD is a member of several international networks, including the European Foundation for Management Development, the Conference Board, the European Academy of Business in Society, and is one of the founding members of the (European Research School in Management and Knowledge). It is also a partner of the European Doctoral Programmes Association in Management and Business Administration.
