Nazeel 'Freshy' Azami (Template:Lang-bn; born August 1981) is a British singer-songwriter of spiritual music. Nazeel started his new career signed to Awakening Records, with his first album in 2006. Previously he had featured as a backing vocalist on British Muslim singer Sami Yusuf's first album Al-Mu`allim. He sings in a number of languages including, English, Bengali and Arabic.
Nazeel was born in 1981 in the UK. Of Bangladeshi descent, he grew up in London and Manchester. He developed his music talent at a very young age after his mother encouraged him to memorise and recite classical traditional Bengali poetry and songs. He was further influenced by his maternal uncle who is also a Bengali singer-songwriter and poet. Now he is a graduate in physics but he teaches maths at a private school called London East Academy. However some of his album called "Dunya" was released on 15 November 2006. It has a combination of different languages, themes and cultures. His new nasheeds or songs include:
