Alvirne is the name of a high school located in the town of Hudson, New Hampshire. It gets its name from its founder, Albert Hills, who combined his first name with the first name of his wife, Virginia.
Alvirne is unusual in having cows, chickens, goats, and a barn on campus as part of an agriculture education program in the Wilbur H. Palmer Vocational School. The program also ha s a restaurant, bank, school store, daycare and building trades.
Its most famous alumni is Philip G. Mousseau.
The mascot is the Bronco.
