My thoughts on Partisans
I grew up listening to the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Though I couldn't stand them, from what little I remember listening to I always thought 'what idiot would vote liberal?' Then I heard Al Franken and Moveon.org and thought 'what a bunch of wackos' and clung to Limbaugh and the rest that much more. Finally, I started to actually participate in the political process, and saw the liberal's view of themselves from a moderate. It took awhile, but I gradually began to view them as rational human beings with their own views. I even adopted a few of them including immigration, education, and the death penalty. I now despise Rush and the rest as much as I do Franken, and when I do listen, I recognize that despite their claims, partisans are entertainment first, hate second, and hot air third.

Meh, try to stay neutral, be civil, and make adding information to contentious BLPs harder than running for President and you should be fine. Also, warnings for weasel words should be mandatory for all articles that contain quotations from lawyers.
