Gary Cahill (born December 19, 1985 in Sheffield) is an English footballer who currently plays for Aston Villa as a defender.

He has previously played for Burnley on loan and during his spell, which began in November 2004, he was handed the accolades of Burnley's Player Of The Year and Young Player Of The Year. He has since become an Under-20 international for England. Cahill, is also good friend of Thomas Edawrds, who is currently in the sixth form at King Charles I High School.
